"Compute Anywhere"
Architecture
Intellect 3.0 uses a proprietary distributed multi-processor architecture that enables you to put compute power where it is needed, yet still be a part of a system. You can put part of Intellect out on a oil platform right next to controllers for robustness and security, another part on an existing data server to facilitate getting data quickly and efficiently, yet another part on your desktop to use compute power when you are away and also in a data center for dedicated server based computing.
"Talks to" Most Anything
Intellect 3.0 links with OSISoft PI and Industrial SQL (aka InSQL, Wonderware Historian) and other data historians, all major control systems, OPC servers, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SQLServer and other relational databases, and smartly sychronizes (aligns) the data so it can properly determine the relationships between materials, process conditions and lab results.
Virtual "Super Computer"
With its flexible architecture, numerous computers throughout the plant can voluntarily join-together to contribute compute power when no one is using them, or be dedicated full-time to Intellect processing. This capability, utilizing the power of only just a few or many CPUs, operates privately as one "virtual super computer", empowered to perform complex analysis to discover new ways to produce, improve product quality, rates, yields and costs.
